Abstract

Abstract:

A power plant’s supercritical II1 type boiler was vibrating after maintenance. After analysis, calculation and test, vibration source was indicated from low temperature overheater. Vibration was found resonance due to Karman vortex shedding frequency is close to the acoustics standing wave frequency of duct. By adding antivibration separate plate at low temperature overheater area, vibration was eliminated.
