Steam turbine stative blade tail spray dehumidification numerical investigation

Abstract

Abstract:

To solve the problem of steam turbine end stage runner wet steam, a numerical method for end stage static blade dehumidification structure design was introduced. The 20th stage runner phase change process was simulated. Tail spray dehumidification structure with different width gap was designed. The condensation process in runner was explained by nucleation theory and droplet growth model. Otherwise, tail spray dehumidification structure is effective, and performance best when the gap is 0.4mm wide.
