Abstract:

To ensure the SO2 emission satisfied the EU environmental standards, authors compared different desulfurization solutions for Romania Rovinari Coalfired Power Plant. After comparing with circulated fluid bed semitry method, limestonegypsum wet method was decided. This satisfied the EU environmental requirements and lowered initial investment.
