Abstract:

For a vertical heat recovery boiler in a certain gas turbine power plant, it has problems of big noise and prominent lowfrequency noise, and because of its compact arrangement, the conventional measure of overall sound insulation enclosure could not be implemented. This paper studied the lowfrequency noise of boiler of this type, identified its source, developed a new noise reduction device according to the analysis result, and applied it in practice. The application result shows that the device could significantly reduce the lowfrequency noise of boiler and improve the surrounding noise environment.
