Cause analysis of low temperature of reheated steam at low load of boiler and reconstruction of combustor

Abstract

Abstract:

Based on a domestic 350MW boiler low reheat steam temperature at low load, by investigating and combustion adjusting tests, it was determined that operation adjustment would not solve this problem, and combustor improvement reconstruction is necessary. The plan that to reduce furnace heat absorption and upper flue gas swirling was indicated. After improvement, reheat steam temperature was significantly raised at low load. Situation of combustion and slugging was improved. Unit NOx emission mass concentration was reduced. The combustion adjusting tests after improvement provided instruction cards for operation crew. Unit economy and safety was enhanced.
