Abstract:

To reduce the damage caused by the arc fault occurred in the 6kV auxiliary power system of large thermal power plant，it should adopt a kind of comprehensive management method including improving the highvoltage transformers resistance to short circuit and using IAC switchgear witch bus protection. It analyses the current status of arc protection device which is based on arc sensor.
