Abstract:

12Cr1MoV is the most commonly used lowalloy heatresistant steel in electric furnace and its high process performance and reliability has been widely proved. It is commonly applied in making superheater tubers，headers，and pipes a boiler. In this paper，the subcritical boiler is used as an example，and the analysis is focused on the cracks inside the connection pipes between the header and superheater. The solutions provide important experience and guarantees for the 12Cr1MoV steel pipes applied in most of the 300MW units with the largest number in service. 
