FCB design and test analysis for thermal power units

Abstract

Abstract:

Unit with FCB function plays a significant role in power grid and power plants. Research on configuration selection of high/low pressure bypass and HP cylinder exhaust ventilation valves,effective volume and steam source switching of deaerator,feed water pump operation adjustment and the choice of reheating pressure are made. Combined with FCB test data of a subcritical 660MW unit in Saudi Arabia, the main system parameters of the turbine are analyzed. The results show that the FCB function is feasible and the design selection is validated. It provides reference for the design and operation of FCB system in the future.
