Abstract:

Reel and wire rope are common accessories in all kinds of cranes. How to correctly select the direction of rope groove rotation and wire rope twisting are critical to the life and safety of the steel rope. It introduces the method of judging the twisting direction of the wire rope and the rotation direction of the rope groove. According to the structural characteristics of the wire rope and the rope groove, the matching principle between the two ropes is scientifically explained. Finally, a common and simple selection principle is given after the combination of the lefthand and righthand principle.
