Abstract:

To regularly detect the performance of generator rotor overvoltage protection device, a method of using the existing low voltage equipment in testing the actual operating value of rotor overvoltage protection is put forward: by measuring the operating voltage of the trigger, then the actual operating value of the rotor overvoltage protection device can be calculated. It is verified that the method of the test results agree with conventional methods. The operation is simple and there is no high voltage in the process. It can be used as a rapid detection method on the generator rotor overvoltage protection device to ensure the reliable operation of the generator.
