Abstract:

During the cold starting process of a 330MW steam turbine of a company, due to unqualified impulse starting parameters, large temperature difference between high pressure  and  intermediate pressure cylinder caused by uneven expansion of different parts of the cylinders, and large vibration of shaft system, the unit took too long term from starting to gridconnection. It analyzes the influencing factors and puts forward solutions to solve the problem of too longtime start and improve the safety and economy of the unit.
