Technical and economic analysis of natural gas heating by waste heat of LM2500+G4 gassteam combined cycle generator

Abstract

Abstract:

The LM2500 + G4 gassteam combined cycle generator makes use of the waste heat from the HRSG to heat the natural gas intake system. The intake gas temperature is 20℃ normally and will be heated to 30～80℃.Through comparative analysis, the technical and economic performance is optimal when heating natural gas to 80℃, which not only significantly improves the comprehensive energy utilization efficiency of distributed energy system with LM2500 + G4, but also improve the economy, reliability and safety of the generator. Low temperature corrosion can be effectively prevented.
