Abstract:

Based on the macromorphological analysis, chemical composition analysis, metallographic strcture analysis and mechanical property analysis, a tube bursting since hightemperature overheating in a 300MW subcritical boiler of a power plant is analyzed. It turns out that the tube bursting is due to both longterm over temperature and shortterm overheating (tube blocked by foreign matter).
