Ground point principle and case analysis of current transformer

Abstract

Abstract:

Measured circuits shunts caused by twopoint grounding of the current transformer secondary winding, leaded to malfunction of main transformer differential protection. Aiming at the accident, analysis on possible current transformer false wiring was made at the scene. It expounds the importance and necessity that only onepoint ground of current transformer secondary circuit is the allowed in the protection cabinet screen.
