In the energysaving renovation of a 300MW coalfired unit by recovering the waste heat deeply. There are 4 different energysaving renovation plans distinguished by different arrangement positions and different texture of heat exchanger, as well as the effect on induced draft fan and force draft fan. It demonstrated the feasibility of the 4 types of energy saving renovations on the waste heat deep recovery, by comparing their technology, technical economy analysis, cost analysis and the payback period. And it can provide reference for similar reconstruction projects in the future.
