Analysis and treatment on vibration faults diagnosis after flow path retrofitting of 600MW steam turbine

Abstract

Abstract:

Vibration problems during the startup and operation period are found in some 600MW steam turbine units in Zhejiang Province after the flow path retrofitting. Causes of vibration faults of different units include mass imbalance, resonance and low accelerate ratio at overcritical speed. Countermeasures of these problems are given, which provides a reference for engineers and designers of the retrofitting.
