Research on a differential current protection device for Tconnection lines

Abstract

Abstract:

It introduces the main characteristics and application status of Tconnection lines. It also analyzes threeterminal data synchronization method, differential protection criterion, CT saturation discrimination method, logicconverting operation mode which are applied into Tconnection current differential protection device. The dynamical simulation test results show that the performance of fiber differential current protection device for Tconnection lines developed according to the principles above is excellent and reliable, which can completely meet the requirement for wholeline quickaction of Tconnection lines.
