Research on a differential current protection device for Tconnection lines

Abstract:

It introduces the main characteristics and application status of Tconnection lines. It also analyzes threeterminal data synchronization method, differential protection criterion, CT saturation discrimination method, logicconverting operation mode which are applied into Tconnection current differential protection device. The dynamical simulation test results show that the performance of fiber differential current protection device for Tconnection lines developed according to the principles above is excellent and reliable, which can completely meet the requirement for wholeline quickaction of Tconnection lines.
