Determination of the amount of desulfurization wastewater not only matters the operation of flue gas ultralow emission equipments but also directly affects the investment and running costs of the wastewater treatment. However, many factors could effect the amount of desulfurization wastewater, such as Cl- concentration in the desulfurization slurry, gypsum property control, desulfurization process water quality as well as coal type, flue gas temperature, etc. All these factors were analyzed, and the wastewater reduction ways were also proposed.
