With the development of digital power plant, it brings higher requirements for the MMI, communication function and performance of relay protection devices. Based on the comprehensive analysis of the generator/transformer protection device MMI and communication management unit, a design scheme that includes chip AM3352 and embedded realtime operating system QNX is proposed.The design scheme is expounded from software/hardware platform selection, software architecture, software process design, etc.
