Abstract:

There was abnormal sound in the balltube mill speed reducer and motor of a 635MW unit. Applying vibration diagnosis and analysis technology，the reason for the abnormal sound is found out to be broken teeth in lowspeed gear of reducer. The severity of the failure is judged accurately and targeted treatment is made timely, which avoids further expansion of equipment failure.
