Cause analysis and solution for ignition failure of V94.3A gas turbine

Abstract

Abstract:

There are frequent failures in startup and ignition process of a V94.3A gas turbine in a gasfired power plant. By analyzing its operating data, it is found out that high ambient humidity and poor draining effect of diffusion combustion natural gas pipelines will affect the the ignition of units.Effective drainage measures must be taken during the operation, before the shutdown and during the maintenance of the unit, which effectively improves the success rate of the unit ignition.
