Design and dynamic simulation of openingclosing mechanism of material bin gate

Abstract:

A traditional material bin requires a large opening space for its gate, which affects the designing height. If the fourbar mechanism is used as the tandem for openingclosing mechanism,the demanding space for the opening will be greatly reduced. Taking the gate openingclosing mechanism of a dust collecting bin as an example, it is verified by kinematics simulation that the openingclosing mechanism can reduce the opening space, and the motion principle and dynamics characteristics of the mechanism are obtained through dynamic simulation.The effectiveness of the openingclosing mechanism is proved by static simulation.
