Abstract: Abstract:According to the characteristics of cylindrical pipe, a pipe suitable for preventing particle deposition in leadbismuth eutectic (LBE), which is used as the coolant in nuclear reactor, is proposed. With the help of thermophoresis model, the deposition prevention capacity of the pipe under different temperature difference and different particle size was calculated respectively. The calculation shows that the antideposition capacity of the pipe increases alone with increase of temperature difference between the pipe surface and the coolant, and the antideposition capacity of the pipe decreases alone with increase of diameter of the particulate matter. The temperature difference influences on the antideposition capacity more greatly than the particle size. Using the pipe, the fine particle deposition in LBE on pipe wall will decreases, the flowing property and the heat transfer performance of LBE can be improved.
