构网型变流器技术的发展现状与趋势研究

Study on the status quo and development trend of grid-forming converter technology

摘要:

由于电力电子设备和新能源的高渗透率,电力系统存在惯性减小、系统强度变弱的趋势,稳定性问题也越来越严重。为提升系统稳定性,提出一种构网型变流器技术,可发挥变流器灵活可控的优势,补偿系统缺失的惯性阻尼,为系统提供可靠的电压、频率支撑。比较了构网型控制技术与跟网型控制技术的差异,介绍了几类构网控制策略与构网型高压储能技术。指出该技术目前面临的瓶颈与挑战以及可实现的解决思路。研究结果显示,构网控制技术能够有效提升电网惯量阻尼特性,为系统提供电压和频率支撑,在高比例新能源和高比例电力电子设备的新型电力系统中有广阔的应用前景。

Abstract:

Due to the numerous electric and electrical devices and high-penetration new energy in a power system,the system's inertia tends to decrease and its strength and stability are hampered. In order to improve the stability of the system,a grid-forming converter technology which gives play to the flexibility and controllability of converters,compensates for the missing inherent inertia damping and provides reliable voltage and frequency support for the system is proposed.Based on the comparison between grid-forming control and gird-following control technologies,different network construction control strategies are analyzed. Then, the grid-forming high-pressure energy storage technology is introduced.The bottlenecks,challenges and feasible solutions of the technology are pointed out.The research results show that since the grid construction control technology can effectively improve the inertia damping,and provide the voltage and frequency support for the power system,it is promising in new power systems with high proportion of new energy and a large quantity of electronic equipment.
