Abstract:

At present, terminal equipment has embraced the era of Internet of Things.Edge computing can be performed locally in various smart devices connected to a communication gateway according to service requirements, and the key data are uploaded to the main distribution station. As the main monitoring equipment in the distribution network, distribution terminal is responsible for real-time monitoring and control on bay lines in ring network cabinets. Traditional distribution terminals tend to adopt centralized configuration, which can monitor 8 bay lines at the same time. Each bay is sampled and calculated by the host computer. More ring network cabinets take the cascade mode for the distribution terminals to realize multi-bay monitoring, resulting in some vacant bays to be sampled and calculated. Therefore, a distributed station terminal design scheme based on edge computing is proposed, which is composed of common units and bay units. The common unit realizes data access and communication management, and the bay unit realizes the measurement, control and protection of bays in ring network cabinets. The service App with dynamic loading capacity in the common unit can perform edge computing locally, and the bay unit is connected to the common unit in plug and play mode based on model file. Bluetooth can solve the problems in maintenance for the devices of different models, which improves the efficiency of on-site maintenance and promote the high-quality development of distribution terminals.
