Abstract: A water regime autoforecasting system based on the general packet radio service（GPRS） technique was designed for the forecasting system working timely and accurately, the system was composed by telemetry station, GPRS modules and information center, and the modules are includes data acquisition module, information transmission module and memory analyzing module. It has been proved by application that the system was high reliability, wide covering range, convenient stationing, easy expansion, fast networking, low cost of maintenance.
