Abstract: The composition of the stator slot coupler online monitoring system was introduced. The occurring conditions and the harm of partial discharge of generator were analyzed. Based on this, the monitoring methods of generator partial discharge signal were expounded.The stator slot coupler method is very effective, which is one many monitoring methods of partial discharge signal.

