Analysis of oil leakage of hydraulic turbine runner and reformation

Abstract

Abstract: The oil leakage of runner of unit number 1 in Hongjiang Hydropower Plant was introduced. By analysis, it is determined that the oil leakage was occurred in seal of runner paddle. A treatment scheme of replacing the material of paddle shaft sleeve was proposed and implemented. After the reformation, the paddle moved flexibly and stably, and the oil leakage of paddle seal was not found, and the unit operated safely and reliably.
