Application of arc protection in middle voltage auxiliary power system of thermal power plant

Abstract

Abstract: The composition of the arc protection device was introduced. The situation of the protection of middle voltage auxiliary power system of thermal power plant and existing defection were analyzed. Taking a typical 2×300MW thermal power plant project as example, the design and application scheme of the arc protection for middle voltage auxiliary power system was discussed, and the application prospect of the arc protection device was presented. 
