Optimization of lubricating oil system of gear reducer in coal mill

Abstract

Abstract: The lubricating oil system, which includes the selflubrication oil pump and the lubrication oil cooler, is configured for the gear reducer of the coal mill of 200MW unit in a thermal power plant in Zhengzhou. Due to the operation of the selflubrication oil system of the gear reducer was not stable, the gear reducer was damaged frequently. The gear reducer lubrication oil systems of four coal mills of unit No.2 was optimized and reformed; the lubrication oil stations for mill main bear set were used for providing lubrication and cooling for the gear reducers. The operation reliability of gear reducers of the coal mills in unit No.2 was increased greatly. The optimization scheme can be used as reference for the power plant using similar gear reducer of coal mill.

