Abstract: The strength calculation is important component of steam boikler design. The similarities and differences of the ASME codes volume I and the domestic boiler strength calculation standard, GB/T 9222—2008 “Strength calculation of pressure parts for watertube boiler”, on strength calculation of boiler body were compared and analyzed, which can be used as reference for engineers and technicians.
