Research on utilization of residual heat in lowtemperature flue gas of coalfired power plant

Abstract: Aiming at the problems, which occurred in the desulphurization system of thermal power plant after its GGH was abolished, a solution proposed in this paper is to install a lowtemperature flue gas heat recovery device. The problems existing in present desulphurization systems can be solved including the waste of flue gas heat, the higher water consumption of the wet desulphurization, the unsafe operation of the wet smoke stack after desulphurization and others. In addition, using this solution, the power generation efficiency can be increased by about 0.3% or the lowquality heat equivalent to 4% of generated electricity can be recovered.
