Abstract: Abstract:According to the features of transmission line protection of oversea power grid, following with the principle of taking actions that suit local circumstances, the configuration and test of the transmission line distance protection for BATAM KASAM Coalfired Power Plant, which is the first oversea project of China Huadian Engineering Corporation, were researched. Starting from the configuration principle of transmission line distance protection, the different principles of domestic line distance protection and oversea line distance protection were analyzed emphatically, and the solution of the transmission line distance protection for oversea power grids was obtained, which provides reference for other oversea projects.
