Analysis on reasons of outoflimit vibration of water intake pump

Abstract

Abstract: Abstract:In operation of the water intake pump of a coalfired power plant, the vibration of the pump exceeded permitted limit. The reasons of the vibration were analyzed, and it was pointed out that the main reasons causing the overoflimit vibration are the external pipeline stress, the insufficient lubricating water pressure and the poor lubricating water quality. The faults were treated, the vibration of the water intake pump weakened, and the water intake pump operates normally.
