Abstract: Abstract:In order to study the water consumption of the closed cooling system for the 330MW unit under different seasons,the operation conditions of closed cooling water system in the whole year 2012 Jiangsu Huadian Yangzhou Power Generation Corporation Limited were analyzed. Based on the features and selection principle of the closed cooling pump, the economy of small pump instead of the original large pump were analyzed . The energy saving plan of adding a small pump in closed cooling water system to reduce the system energy consumption were advanced. Transformation results showed :suitable small pumps can reduce energy consumption of closed cooling water system and the system is running in good condition.
