Abstract: Abstract:Aiming at the too high fault rate of collecting ring of wind power generator in a wind farm, the statistical result of the faults was analyzed, and based on this analysis, it was determined that the main reason of the faults is shortcircuit fault by carbon powder, and to reduce the carbon powder accumulation can reduce the fault rate of shortcircuit caused by carbon powder. It was proposed to add carbon powder cleaning device in the collecting ring chamber. After the measure was implemented, the fault rate reduced from 3.17 times per month to zero.
