Analysis on weld crack in support's lining plates of steam pipeline of power plant and treatment

Abstract

Abstract: Abstract:In a power plant, during the unit maintenance period, by means of metal inspection, it was found that there were cracks in the support’s lining plates of the main steam pipe and the hightemperature reheat steam pipe. The reasons were analyzed, and the experiences of repair welding were summarized. The defects were eliminated successfully. The measures for ensuring the lining plates to operate safely for long time were proposed, which can be used as reference for treating similar problems.
