Abstract:The main process of pipe bending and its application in nuclear power plant were introduced. The advantages of the pipe bending technology conparing with elbow were analyzed. Under condition of enough arrangement space, it was recommended to adopt pipe bending process preferentially. The design and acceptance check requirements for pipe bending process in standards RCC-M and ASME were compared, and the comparison shows that the related requirements of the standard RCC-M are more comprehensive and specific, and to adopt RCC-M preferentially is suggested.
