Wind power plant wind turbine unit performance evaluation research based on laser radar anemoscope

Abstract:

Based on the problem of wind turbine unit acceptance after warranty and difficult to evaluate real power rate curve, a laser radar anemoscope was introduced. Combined with wind turbine unit SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system data, a rapid evaluation method was indicated. This method was implemented onto a power plant of 22 units. The result indicated that the power rate curve of unit No.12, 13, 17 and 21 was poor. This method is accurate, simple and practical. Which could be referred for wind turbine unit evaluation.
