Abstract:

Aiming at an invalid tube sample of a lowtemperature reheater of a 1000MW unit, room temperature performance, metallography and nondestructive testing results were analyzed. It is concluded that the welding quality, lack of original performance are major causes of tube failure, and corresponding suggestions for the cause of material failure were put forward.
