Abstract:

:Analyzing pitch capacitor’s high voltage fault in Vensys pitch system of a wind farm in Inner Mongolia. Analyzing the cause of fault and check them item by item, it is found out that while taking manual pitch control, the output voltage of pitch capacitor voltage monitoring module is less than 54V after 3s .The voltage return to normal after terminating the pitch system . After replacing the supercapacitor, the unit return to normal operation.
