On one hand,the occurrence of water hammer directly impacts pipelines,valves,flanges and seals.On the other hand,it may cause resonance and expanding the accident.Combined with the occurrence and treatment of the water hammer in a waterless test after the transformation of the Gezhouba Power Station No.5 unit,the causes of the water hammer in the governor oil pipeline are analyzed, and prevention methods for water hammer and onsite treatment for water hammer are proposed.
