Abstract:

There were tube explosions in the superheater and reheater of a 600MW unit boiler due to the decoupling of the cylindrical location pin on desuperheater mixing tube.Based on comprehensive analysis on mechanism and causes of the decoupling of the location pin,an optimization scheme is  proposed and implemented, in which fixed plate replaces the original cylindrical location pin to weld desuperheater to the mixing tube directly and firmly.Thereby the tube bursting caused byloose of mixing tube and decoupling of attachments can be avoided effectively.
