Abstract: The low voltage ride through technology of the wind power generation system was introduced. The Influence of wind power generation system on the electric power quality of the power grid during the low voltage ride through process was analyzed. A method was put forward, in which the protection circuit unit is used for improving the wind power generation system and enhancing the electric power quality of the power grid when the low voltage ride through occurred. By software simulation, the rationality and validity of the method were proved.
