Analysis and prevention of the large expansion difference of ultrasupercritical steam turbine in hot startup process

Abstract

Abstract:

Through the analysis and treatment of the abnormal vibration during a ultrasupercritical steam turbine startup process, it makes an deduction and calculation of the special relationship between the temperature of the shaft seal and the variation of expansion difference. And it is confirmed that mismatching of temperature of the shaft seal is fundamental reason to large expansion difference. It puts forwards accurate prevention measures and can provide reference for the risk control of units’ startup.
