Flexible load regulation margin evaluation method considering virtual energy storage characteristics

Abstract: In order to fully tap the regulation potential of flexible load, guide the benign interaction between massive distributed load side resources and power grid, realize the optimal allocation of resources and the improvement of energy utilization efficiency more economically, efficiently and safely, and adapt to the development needs of future smart grid. According to the operation characteristics of air conditioning load, electric vehicle and energy storage equipment, this paper focuses on mining the virtual energy storage capacity of air conditioning load and electric vehicle charging, carries out modelling similar to general energy storage equipment, analyses the characteristics of virtual energy storage aggregation model by Monte Carlo simulation method, and obtains the available capacity participating in dispatching. Then, a unified control margin index for three types of loads is proposed to measure the priority of load dispatch. Finally, on the basis of theoretical analysis, taking the actual air conditioning and electric vehicle as examples, according to the outdoor temperature change and electric vehicle charging plan, the future adjustable capacity results are obtained.
