Analysis on dynamic balance of hydroelectric generator set of YEYWA Hydropower Station in Myanmar

Abstract

Abstract: The composition of the vibration monitoring system of hydroelectric generator in YEYWA Hydropower Station of Myanmar was introduced; the reasons of the severe vibration of the relief pipe in head cover caused by the incorrect welding position of the balance weight block were analyzed. The basic method and the treatment process of the dynamic balance test were expounded. After the balance weight block was replaced, the amplitudes of various vibrations are in the ranges of the designed requirements, and the dynamic balance of the unit was realized. 
