Abstract: The T91 steel has poor weldability, stronger coolcrack sensitivity and certain hotcrack trend; so its field welding passing rate is lower. According to the site practical situation of the 300MW cogeneration project of Hubei Huadian Huangshi Power Generation Corporation Limited, the T91 steel superheater tube field welding of this project, the argon filling method and related matters needing attention were summarized, providing reference for similar power plant in T91 steel tube welding.
