    Taking the blended burning of the Indonesian coal in a power plant as example, various blended burning experiments with different blending ways were carried out, the purpose of which is to evaluate the influence of blended burning of the Indonesian coal on the boiler burning system and the coal pulverizing system. Based on the comparison of site experiment and coal analysis, the operating characteristics of the boiler blended burning Indonesian coal were known well; the rational operation mode was provided for the boiler blended burning Indonesian coal, and certain reference was provided for other power plants in blended burning of Indonesian coal.

    The belt spraying system is effective tool to control the dust pollution of coal conveyor system in thermal power plant.Due to that the belt spraying system is auxiliary equipment, so persons often do not pay sufficient attention to it.     According to the structure characteristics of 9Eseries natural gasfired combined cycle units in Shanghai Power Grid, the role of these type units in peak load regulation of power grid was arranged. The technical and economical characteristics of natural gasfired combined cycle unit were analyzed and compared with the economical efficiency of 300MW, 600MW and 1000MW coalfired units; and it was pointed out that the gas turbine combined cycle power generation has advantages of comprehensive utilization of energy and higher efficiency. Based on analysis of main equipment operation reliability of 9Eseries combined cycle units, a conclusion was obtained that the reliability of 9Eseries units in load regulation operation is better than that of other type units. 

    Two adjustable movable blade type axial flow fans are configured in boiler of a power plant as primary air fan. Since they were put into operation, the stall fault occurred frequently, and this influenced on safe operation of the unit seriously. According to the experiment and adjustment of the primary air fans of the unit, the reasons of stall fault of the fans in practical operation were analyzed. From the angle of operation technical management, the prevention and treatment measures of fan stall fault were put forward, which can be used as reference for operators of similar fans in prevention and treatment of primary air fan stall fault.

    The flow measurement method by using differential pressure transmitter is used in hydropower stations currently. In this method, according to that the water flow in the volute casing abides by the law of constant velocity torque, combining with the Bernoulli equation and the water flow similarity law, the relation between the flow and the pressure difference can be obtained; and by processing, the flow can be calculated. The effects of differential pressure transmitter use are not ideal in many hydropower stations. Starting from the angles of experience, installation and data processing, the reasons of deviation of measured value were analyzed; and relevant solutions were given. 

    After the 330MW unit of a power plant was shut down and started up again, it was found that the flow of the EH oil increased from 18L/min to 95L/min (its normal value range is 15L/min to 25L/min); and the current of the motor of EH oil pump was exceeded the limit, and the temperature of the motor was higher. Based on checking analysis, the internal leakage point had been found; and this internal leakage causes the larger flow of the EH oil flow; and the defect was eliminated gradually in unit operation. The flow of EH oil was decreased to 18L/min, and an unplanned outage accident was avoided, and safe and stable operation of the unit was ensured.

    According to the comparison of the immerged ultrafiltration technical scheme with the pressure type ultrafiltration technical scheme, a conclusion was obtained that adopting the immerged ultrafiltration combining with reverse osmosis technology to treat the discharged water from the circulating water system can satisfy the requirements of predesalination for boiler feedwater, and 2.4 million tons fresh water can be saved in a year; this provides a new thinking for water conservation in power plant. 
