Abstract: The nonredundant protection items in the Mark V control system of the PG9171E gas turbine were analyzed. A concrete improvement scheme was proposed, and the double configuration of the protection items was realized. The operation stability of the whole unit was improved. The result of this paper can be used as reference for similar units in protection improvement by double configuration.
